Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

New Ambassador of Uruguay to the OAS Presents Credentials

The new Permanent Representative of Uruguay to the Organization of American States (OAS), Edison Lanza, presented his credentials today to Secretary General Albert Ramdin during a ceremony held at the Organization's headquarters in Washington, DC.
In his speech, Ambassador Lanza said that Uruguay's President, Yamandu Orsi, upon taking office, highlighted "the importance that Uruguay assigns" to the Organization "as a platform for dialogue, cooperation, and hemispheric consensus-building." He affirmed that Uruguay will maintain its "commitment to human rights," highlighting its 65-year adherence to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and 40 years to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. He added that Uruguay will continue to support the IACHR and other specialized and autonomous bodies, such as the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM) and the Inter-American Children's Institute (IIN).
Meanwhile, OAS Secretary General Albert Ramdin praised the experience of Uruguay's new representative to the OAS, who worked in the Organization before, and said he is "very pleased to have an ambassador, a representative of a member state, who thoroughly understands the institution, especially in these days when we are talking about restructuring, budgeting, but also with a focus on democracy, human rights, development, and security."
The new ambassador holds a PhD in Law and Social Sciences from the Faculty of Law of the University of the Republic (Uruguay) and served as Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights from 2014 to 2020.
Present at the ceremony were the President of the Permanent Council and Representative of Canada, Stuart Savage; the Assistant Secretary General of the Organization, Laura Gil, and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to the OAS.
