Questionnaires
The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights will prepare a regional study on the greatest achievements and challenges in women's access to justice in cases of gender-based violence and discrimination, which will include concrete recommendations for the member states of the Organization of American States, in order to improve the judicial response in these cases in accordance with their regional obligations.
The purpose of this questionnaire is to compile updated and relevant regional information on: (i) the main advances and good practices in access to and administration of justice with a gender perspective; (ii) the obstacles that women face in accessing justice, especially when they are victims of violence and discrimination; and (iii) new strategies and best practices to address these obstacles.
The Commission extends this questionnaire to civil society organizations, academia, human rights defenders, women's organizations, and the public.
