Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.
Approximately six weeks after the end of each semester, the OAS publishes a Semiannual Management and Performance Report, which since 2013 includes reporting on programmatic results. The full texts may be found here.

The OAS has discussed for several years the real estate issue, the funding required for maintenance and repairs, as well as the deferred maintenance of its historic buildings. The General Secretariat has provided a series of options for funding it. The most recent document, reflecting the current status of the Strategy, is CP/CAAP-3211/13 rev. 4.

(Spanish only) Resulta para mí un honor estar hoy con ustedes en esta
Cátedra de las Américas, en la que me han antecedido reconocidas
personalidades en nuestra región. La importancia del tema que hoy nos ocupa,
10 apropiado de la oportunidad y la relevancia del foro para tratarlo, no
hacen mas que indicar la sensibilidad y permanente atención de la OEA y su
Secretario General, José Miguel Insulza, frente a los desafíos que enfrentan
las Américas.
En el corto plaza, la crisis financiera global afectara, sin duda, la
calidad de vida en nuestros países por el impacto que tendrá sobre la
actividad económica y, consecuentemente, el empleo y la pobreza.
A la vez, la inestabilidad que estamos enfrentando ofrece oportunidades de
medio y largo plazo para consolidar un crecimiento económico y social
sostenible, a través de políticas publicas que promuevan inversiones en
cantidad y de calidad en la infraestructura física y social de la región.
EI día de hoy, deseo compartir con Uds. mis reflexiones sobre tres temas:
la propia naturaleza y alcance de una crisis que se gestó fuera de
América Latina y el Caribe,
los canales por los cuales se comenzó a transmitir a la región, y
las perspectivas para nuestros países.
LA CRISIS FINANCIERA GLOBAL Cuando un episodio de turbulencia financiera adquiere las dimensiones de
la situación que actualmente experimentan los mercados financieros
internacionales, su origen no tiene una sola causa.
