The Electoral Observation Mission Database is a tool that compiles and systematizes the information from each of the missions the OAS has deployed in the hemisphere. Through this page, users will be able to consult historic data of the Organization’s missions since 1962 and in-depth information on those deployed from 2010 onwards.
With this electronic tool, the Organization of American States gives an important step forward in terms of transparency, putting to the general public’s disposal most of the information gathered by its electoral observation missions. Those interested will be able to access a wide range of data, including general information, relevant documents, the list of observers, reports, photos, press releases and information regarding the different methodologies the OAS implements in its missions.
The Electoral Observation Mission Database becomes a unique tool of its nature by offering those interested the recommendations provided by our missions, as well as information related to their implementation. With this initiative, the OAS seeks to accompany more efficiently the efforts developed by the electoral bodies of the hemisphere and continue cooperating with the strengthening of democracy in the region.
