Information on How to Contribute to the Specific Fund of the CEDDIS

 

On June 2011, the OAS General Assembly approved the resolution AG/RES. 2663 (XLI-O/11) resolving “to reaffirm the importance of voluntary contributions to the Specific Fund for the Committee for the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities [CP/RES. 947 (1683/09)], created to supplement the financing of the activities of the Committee and its Technical Secretariat; to invite member states and permanent observers, as well as individuals and institutions, both public and private, national and international, to make contributions to the Fund; and to request the Secretary General to take steps to raise new resources for the Fund”.

All those potential contributors who wish to show solidarity towards the cause that promotes the elimination of all forms of discrimination against people with disabilities and their full integration into society, in light of the activities undertaken by the CEDDIS, please find bellow the information on how to proceed:
