Second Preparatory Meeting

The objective of the Second Preparatory Meeting was to negotiate the draft Declaration and Plan of Action of the XVII IACML, consider the Final Reports of the Working Groups, and polish the Work Schedule and other preparatory business for the IACML.

In preparation of this meeting, the Technical Secretariat opened a Virtual Forum with restricted access for delegations to make comments on the Draft Declaration and Plan of Action of San Salvador. More than 15 delegations participated actively in the forum that remained opened until August 31 and enriched the negotiation process during the meeting.
