Planning Meeting 2012-2013 of the OAS Inter-American Conference of Ministers of Labor (IACML)

Participants: Ministries of Labor leading the IACML (Troika: El Salvador, Argentina, Colombia; Chairs and Vice-Chairs of Working Groups: Brazil, Canada, United States, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Bahamas), COSATE, CEATAL and key international organizations  

Objectives:

• To determine the IACML Calendar of Activities for 2012-2013, that will ensure the implementation of the Declaration and Plan of Action of San Salvador and will take into consideration the mandates of the Summit of the Americas.

• To define responsibilities and financial or in-kind contributions, and ensure the coordination among the main actors of the IACML process (Ministries, COSATE, CEATAL and key International organizations).

• To review the operation and financial situation of the Inter-American Network for Labor Administration (RIAL) and decide on the use of contributions received to date.
