Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

addresses the concept of freedom of
expression and the importance of promoting
critical digital literacy to build an
informed citizenry.
In this regard, Article 4 of
the Inter-American Democratic Charter (OAS, 2001)
states:
"Transparency in government
activities, probity, responsible public
administration on the part of governments, respect
for social rights, and freedom of expression and of
the press are essential components of the exercise
of democracy."
